Why We Decided To Launch CB Virtual Assistant
This is a question we get commonly asked and we love to tell this story!
To set the scene, it was a Saturday night, we had ordered a takeaway from a local burger restaurant and was about to start binging the Games of Throne series. We had started talking about work (work conversation always seems to creep in!) and got onto the topic of how short staffed both of our teams were; and “wouldn’t it be great to hire experienced individuals with the correct skills to join our teams flexibly…without the lengthy recruitment process and employee contractural constraints…and who could tackle our to-do lists”.
Lets just say, our eye contact was enough to say “this is what we are going to offer” and what followed would see us setting up CB Virtual Assistant in no time at all. We never got to watch the Games of Thrones and for the rest of the evening (and weeks ahead) we were excitably talking about what CB Virtual Assistant could offer and how we wanted it to work.
This initial conversation took place at the end of January, and by February we had started laying the foundations, and by March we had launched.
Our first client came to us in June and we have been so blessed to have grown as people and as a company so quickly! We now have a team of 4 highly experienced Virtual Assistants who work alongside us with specialisms in social media strategy, event planning, office management, administration, research and Executive Assistance - keep an eye our for our ‘meet the team’ page launching soon.
We knew we had a lot to offer to companies by way of skills and experience, but we have a genuine drive to create success for our clients. Our message has always been about “giving back time” to busy business owner, and individuals who just need an extra pair of hands to get the job done and reach the goal.
It is still early days for us and we are still learning (we love learning and expanding!) about the VA industry and have met some lovely VA colleagues along the way.
Our uniqueness really lies in our diverse and varied skill sets, in how we offer our service with a human touch and in our flexible approach to working collaboratively and seamlessly with our clients.
